SOCIAL CHALLENGES

At our practice, we focus on helping children develop essential social skills that allow them to communicate more effectively with peers and adults, advocate for themselves, understand others' perspectives, and show flexibility in social situations.

These skills are vital for all kids but can be particularly challenging for children on the autism spectrum, as well as other neurotypical children who may find social interactions difficult.

We recognize that every child is unique in their challenges and needs. That’s why we begin with an initial parent intake and a session with the child to gather a comprehensive understanding of their social struggles. This allows our clinicians to tailor a specific treatment plan to help your child build confidence and improve their social skills. We also offer more comprehensive evaluations for autism spectrum disorder if necessary. See more info about our autism evaluation process below.

Whether your child has autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, or just struggling with the demands of todays social pressures our goal is to equip them with the tools to thrive in social settings, forming meaningful relationships and navigate social situations with ease. We offer individual therapy as well as group based treatment called "Club Confident."
